KOBE X ASTON MARTIN EVENT IN LA PART 1

13 maybe an unlucky number for many, but for a select few hundred in Los Angeles the 13th of May was their lucky day including myself. The Kobe-Aston Martin event took place at the Staples Center, home of the defending NBA Champions Los Angeles Lakers. I wasn't one of the chosen 221 contest winners to attend the event, but Nike decided to open it to the public so I immediately rushed to Staples Center. I got my wristband and waited a couple of hours not knowing if there would be any packs left for sale, but there was. Saw many familiar faces in the line from past Kobe releases. Stay tuned for detailed pictures of the pack in part 2.

Outlet hunting is more luck than skill in my opinion. You just never know what you'll find at one. Thanks to a friend for the heads up, I was able to grab these Manny Pacquiao Nike Trainer 1s. They are absolutely flawless. They didn't come with the special MP box or extra laces, but for the price it was worth it. Happy hunting!

When I know I'll be on my feet all day I can always count on my Air Maxes to keep me comfortable. Here are some of my favorite Air Maxes from Nike. From the Air Max 1 to the most recent Air Max 2009, you can see the progression of technology Nike has embedded in the Air Max line. Some notables include the Air Burst, 1993 Air Max 95 Neon (Bigger air bubble than recent releases), and Air Max 2003 (most underrated model in my opinion).
