BO KNOWS TRAINER 1

The Bo Knows campaign comes full circle with the Nike Trainer 1 "Bo Knows" edition. This shoe is a classic mixture of old and new. The shoe features black & silver colors for the Raiders. Nike used a black elephant print on the top of the shoe and a grey cement color on the outsoles. The left insole has BO Knows. The right insole has the famous Bo Jackson pose with his football pads and bat. The combination of traditional colors and materials with new style innovations make this shoe an instant classic.

LA TRAINER 1

The Nike Trainer 1 has become a popular shoe to customize for Nike. The New York Yankee edition was hot and flew off the shelves since the Yankees just won their 27th World Series.
The Los Angeles version features the Dodger blue and white colors. The famous LA Nike logo is stitched on the heels and printed on the inside of the right tongue. The insoles have the numbers of all the retired Dodger players. Get yours at your local So Cal Footlocker.

ROUND 3

What a day! Not only did I pick up the third Pacquiao Trainer 1 shoe, but Manny Pacquiao made history by becoming the first boxer to win seven titles. Niketown LA was crazy because it was also the release of the Doernbecher charity collection featuring the Air Jordan VI. I was lucky enough to get my pairs. This White/red/blue/yellow colorway is my favorite thus far. There are numerous color combinations that one can create with the four sets of laces it came with. Can't wait until the next fight and the next Pacquiao Trainer 1 colorway!

STEELERS!

Nike has made some kicks to match that #43 for all you defending Super Bowl Champ Pittsburgh Steeler fans. Check out these Trainer 1 Troy Polamalu editions. The shoes feature the Steelers black and gold colors and "Troy Knows" on the left tongue. However, the best details are the insoles especially the one that lists all six Super Bowl championship years. Nike might have to make another shoe if the Steelers repeat.

On Saturday November 7, 2009 Nike Sportswear at Montalban in Hollywood held an event featuring the pound for pound best boxer Manny Pacquiao. The night was filled with entertainment, Pacquiao gear and a Q & A session with Manny Pacquiao and his trainers. Did I mention he was wearing his new colorway of the Nike Trainer 1.
