This past weekend marked the release of the Nike Air Jordan Raging Bulls Pack, or DMP2, or Toro Bravo Pack, or Fire and Ice Pack. Whatever name you want to call it, they are sure to sell out. The pack features two Air Jordan 5s, one with red suede and another in reflective 3M material. The quality is much better than the recent Countdown Packs especially the icey soles.

ShoeAffliction enjoyed a beautiful day at the ballpark. No Manny, no worries! Even though the Dodgers lost to the Angels there was lots of action and good times at Chavez Ravine. It was hot out but we had fun! Enjoy the pictures!

Well Footlocker House of Hoops decided to drop the much anticipated Pearl Foamposite Pro today instead of the 23rd of May. It surprised everyone and had the sneakerheads in New York, Chicago, and here in Los Angeles scrambling to the store to get them before they disappear. Once again ShoeAffliction was able to grab a couple of pairs. The color is definitely not the same as the OG or retro but still very nice nonetheless.

Today, Nike Sportswear Lance Armstrong LIVESTRONG "Stages" collection released the three evolution of Air pack which included the Air Max 180, Air Max 1, and the Air Max 90. The number of shoes made are rumored to be 250 pairs each worldwide. All proceeds from these sales go to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. ShoeAffliction was lucky enough to get our hands on a few pairs of the Air Max 1. The Air Max 1 features a gum sole, speckled midsole, premium leather, LIVESTRONG written on the tongue and insoles. Thanks ilnoj!!!

With game 3 of the Western Conference semi-finals set to tip off tonight between the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers, Nike decided to release the infamous MLK Kobe 4. Only the three Footlocker House of Hoops received them and there was definitely more demand than supply. Thanks ilnoj!!

Nike dropped the Air Trainer 1 Flywire x Manny Pacquiao on fight day May 2, 2009 and getting your hands on one was near impossible. The estimated release of 100 was incorrect since Nikesportswear@Montablan in Los Angeles received 28 pairs. Manny Pacquiao himself did not get the 100 pairs that he was supposed to get. No matter how many pairs were made or released, these are sure to be worth a lot.

If you were a sports fan and a sneakerhead then this past Saturday May 2, 2009 was pretty close to heaven. Sports had plenty of action from the Kentucky Derby, Tiger Woods, Celtics/Bulls game 7, and Pacquiao vs Hatton. Sneakerheads had many choices from the two new Cinco De Mayo Air Jordan 1s, black & pink Air Yeezy, and Pacquiao Trainers all releasing on the same day. People were camping out for as long as a week for the Air Yeezy. Pacquiao Trainers were limited to three cities and around 150 pairs. If you were able to grab a pair of Air Yeezy or Pacquiao Trainers this past Saturday then consider yourself lucky. Otherwise, you will have to open up that pocket book because prices are crazy on these two shoes. We were able to obtain the Air Yeezy thanks to ilnoj.

Saturday, May 2, 2009 is sure to go down as one of the most memorable days in the sneaker community with the release of the black and pink Nike Air Yeezy and the very limited Nike Air Trainer 1 x Manny Pacquiao. I am sure we will read on blogs and forums about the stories that transpire with these two releases in the next 24 hours. Enjoy the Pacquiao vs Hatton fight and be safe if you are camping out. Hopefully we will have a good story to tell when all the smoke clears.
