REDONDO BEACH PIER

It was such a beautiful day in So Cal we had to go enjoy it along the coast. It's been a long time since I've been to Redondo Beach Pier. A lot has changed but some things remain the same, the view and the cool breeze. The family had a great time. We'll be back in the summer for sure.

LINSANITY

The Jeremy Lin craze seemingly died down when he went down with a season ending injury, but Nike still went ahead and released a Jeremy Lin inspired sneaker. They were first released overseas and now they have landed in the US. The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk low not only features NY Knicks colors but a special "LINSANITY" insole. They have surprisingly sold very well which might indicate that Linsanity still has some life left.

STAR WARS WHERE SCIENCE MEETS IMAGINATION

I know it's not sneakers but it has influenced my generation far beyond just that. Yes I'm a Star Wars fan. Took my family to the  Discovery Science Center to see the Star Wars Where Science Meets Imagination exhibit before it goes far, far away. Not only did they have movie props and models but plenty of hands on science activities for the kids and me.
