I was fortunate enough to acquire this from the Sole Collector X Jordan event at Nike Santa Monica on October 23, 2010. Only 23 laser numbered shoes were made and came with a special Carbon Fiber box. Tinker Hatfield's autograph adorns the shoe and box.

SDSU AZTEC BASEBALL

Took a trip down to my alma mater, San Diego State University, this past weekend to help raise funds for the baseball team coached by Tony Gywnn. The Strasburg 5K was the main event which took place on the campus. Steven Strasburg not only hosted this event but also participated in the run. It was a fun filled family day with free food and music. Oh yeah our 6th ranked Men's basketball team is still undefeated at 19-0

1ST PICK UP POST OF 2011

Here is the first of many pick up posts this year. I know I'm late on this first pick up but I couldn't pass up on the deal I got these for. The Nike Dunk SE Delorean 6.0 is inspired by the 1980s DMC Delorean car made famous in the Back to the Future movies. The detail on these is superb. Second pick up is the Nike Zoom KD III Christmas Day editions.

2011 WHITE CEMENT AIR JORDAN 3 RETRO

Happy New Year!

I'm going to start the new year by showing you the 2011 Air Jordan 3 Retro. This classic Jordan model is scheduled to release on January 22, 2011 so get ready. If this is the only sneaker I get in 2011 I'll be content. This shoe is my all time favorite so don't be surprised if I bombard you with detailed photos. There are only slight differences between the 2003 retro and the 2001 one. The most notable are the painted white midsole, darker cement print, and shiny leather. Most will not let these differences persuade their decision to buy or not. I personally think that Jordan Brand actually did a good job on this 2011 Air Jordan 3 retro. I will definitely stock up.

Here's my quick comparison review between the 2003 and 2011 Air Jordan 3 Retros. I haven't worn the 2011 version but once I do I will have an updated review.

Shape of the 2011 is similar to 2003 retro.

Almost identical. Tongue on the 2011 retro is slightly wider. Hope the heel tab doesn't yellow like the 2003 version.
